if you know anything about me, you know i work at walmart. fuck walmart. im making $7.80/hr. god forbid a multitrilion dollar company can pay its employee a rate that keeps pace with the cost of living. >.< well heres the deal. its snowed lots and most ppl here are pussys in the snow, so lots of callins. customers expect the world outta walmart and its employees just bc "walmart has everything". management figures out what ppl work the best and give them more work, i happen to be one of those. i work too fast for my own good. yesterday i did 200 price changes in hardware (supervisor job and im not). most were markups, so the whole "save money, live beter" is bs. im getting no recognition for advancement or raise, and they are actualy yeling at me for doing stuf "wrong" when i was never trained to do (supervisor jobs) and they are fucking wit my schedule so i cant get any hours at my second job (subway). so fuck walmart, especially during the holidays. if you can resist it, do not buy you gifts from walmart. go to target.



UPDATE

my subway manager finally is workin around walmarts fscked up schedule. i just got done with three days straight of working 14hrs straight between both jobs. my supervisor got thrown into electronics until after xmas to cover for the lose of their supervisor, so now im alone in hardware. im at day 6 tomorrow of a 7 day stretch. my assistant manager finally is appreciating me for how awesome i am. he is trying to use me anyway he can, which blows. i told my supervisor to keep up on his price changes if he can, otherwise i will do em only if i have time, so far its going fine. the empty electronics supervisor position is currently being sought after by my supervisor and the furnature supervisor. most ppl (even mine) say the furnature super should get it, but he has an active coaching so he may not. if my supervisor gets it, then hes recommending me for hardware supervisor and my assistant manager already said hed be ok with it. all i have to do is convince the store manager that those two (and a bunch of other managers and employees) arent full of shit. heres the downer, even getting that supervisor job i only get a whole 90cent raise and itll probably conflict even more with scheduling. suck >.<

customers suck ass, but it seams that some are starting to become a little nicer. i was only yelled at once today by a customer, but i got 6 hand shakes, a few dozen compliments, a hundred or so thank yous, and almost a hug XD

still hate my job though

So much going on.

I got fired from ServiceMaster in april bc of my driving record. Got hired at Walmart 3 days later. BIG pay cut there. went from 50hr weeks at $10/hr to 39-40hrs at $7.80/hr. I hate it. I put in a request for transfer to overnights, bc they get paid $2more plus ill have my days free for a part time job.

I bought a new car and two motorcycles for me, as well as a pickup for my dad and a car for my sister with the majority of my mom's life insurance that got released to me on my 19th birthday.

My car gets an avg. of 25mpg (only to work and back) and my cruiser bike averages 45mpg (not matter what). The crotchrocket still needs work, so it dont work.

I have since moved outta my old place into a new one. Still with two of my old roommates, but gained another. Paying $300/month plus utilities for a bigger place then before. The old landlord stiffed us for damages that were there prior to move in (roomates there first but didnt take pics, so no proof. So we need to pull the $1200 deposit outta our asses and I'm thankful for paycheck advance places, otherwise it wouldnt be happening.

I can't afford real food, so I've been eating Totinos pizzas and Banquet frozen meals for the past month. I miss real food D:.

Somehow i need to get to my feet and have money by Nov. 19th or I wont be going to MFF again this year. I'll need $40 for registration, probably $150 for hotel, about $130 for gas, plus food money and stuff i buy while there. chances are i can have $300 ready to go for then and if my roomies go too, then gas and hotel will be split.

This first week of joblessness has been more like a vacation then anything. Which if you have talked to me at any point in time, you'd know that my last job sucked and I needed a vacation soon to avoid insanity soon anyway.
Well I was all stressed and all but things are looking up.

I went to an old family friend for a lil help. He is very religious. Not Kill all fags religious, but he preaches at a mission he helped start in town. Well after I went to the mission and helped out, I got a bag of groceries. That took care of food. Come to find out after doing a lil thinking that I'm not atheist, I'm more of a Chirstian Agnostic. Ths means I believe in the Christian God and Jesus Christ, but I'm skeptical about most the rest of the religion (including the bible).

I had three total interviews with Walmart, the same one my bf works at. The third interview was basically meeting the main boss and taking a drug test. It's confirmed that I will be working there once the background check comes back. The check will be back hopefully by tomorrow and if so I will start on saturday. YAY!
